To become Agniveer in the army, the youth of 13 districts of western Uttar Pradesh will be tested from today. To become Agniveer, youth will try hard from today. On the first day, candidates from Gautam Budh Nagar and lastly from Meerut will participate in the rally. Army, police and administration officials took stock of the preparations. Union Minister of State Dr. Sanjeev Balyan reached Vedanta Farm House late in the night and met the candidates. At the same time, arrangements for food and drink have been made free of cost for the youth.
The recruitment will run from September 20 to October 10 under the aegis of Army’s Meerut Recruitment Office. The first day’s race on Tuesday ended at 11:30 am. Reserves have been kept for five days due to the possibility of rain. On Monday, youths of Gautam Budh Nagar, Jewar and Dadri tehsils reached the city in large numbers for the rally. The preparations were hampered by the rain during the day. Vehicular movement has been restricted from Meenakshi Chowk to Sujdu Chungi on Meerut Road. Nodal officer ADM Administration Narendra Bahadur Singh, SP Crime Prashant Kumar said that the city has been divided into five zones and nine sectors. Agniveer Recruitment will include candidates from Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Hapur, Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Gautam Budh Nagar, Bulandshahr, Moradabad, Rampur, Amroha, Bijnor, Saharanpur, Shamli.
Along with the youth, the police’s ordeal also
During the Agniveer recruitment, the police fire test has started regarding the traffic system in the city. The police have made all arrangements to maintain order, despite this, on the first day, there was heavy congestion and jam on the roads due to vehicles from the circular road of the city and Meenakshi Chowk to Sujdu intersection. Due to which the drivers had to suffer. During the school holiday in the afternoon, the police had to struggle to manage the system.

In order to make the Agniveer recruitment successful, the police and administration have done a lot of homework to maintain the traffic system. All the vehicles coming from Sujdu side are being diverted from circular road to Mahavir Chowk, while the big vehicles going from Meenakshi Chowk to Meerut road towards Sujdu are also being sent from Mahavir Chowk to Sujdu via circular road. Two wheelers, e-rickshaws and cars are going towards Sujdu from Meenakshi Chowk. Apart from this, the local people are coming by their small light vehicles. The people of Jat colony are also coming and going from circular road.
Barricading has been done up to 100 meters to the left and right of the recruitment site, Mahavir Chowk, Meenakshi Chowk, Jat Colony, Exhibition Camp, Sujdu Chowk, the gate of the recruitment site. For security and order, police have been deployed at Mahavir Chowk, Roadways Bus Stand, Railway Station, SD Tiraha, Bachan Singh Chowk.
GRP-RPF handled the arrangements at the station
The youths have reached the city for recruitment by boarding the trains. In view of showing them the way and other arrangements, the GRP and RPF maintained the arrangements at the station.
